These creatures appear to be piles of gray gelati-
nous slime with 5 mouths and a single eye resting
over each mouth. The Maws are a unique race of
invertebrates that live in caves and moist climates,
and are able to produce mucus that allows them to
move around, as well as containing fibres that prevent
the Maw from sliding down vertical surfaces. The
Maw also use the mucus to create slime cords that are
used to lower themselves to the ground, on to a
unsuspecting victim, or suspend them in mid air during copulation.
The Multi-Edge Blade is designed for intimidation and destruction. This two-handed blade
is 5 feet long with a blade that is
over a foot wide at its widest point.
This blade has an irregular shaped
blade with multiple cutting edges
used for slashing, thrusting and chopping. As
with all two-handed weapons, this blade may be
wielded with one hand by any character with a
strength of 8 or better.
Projectile allows the Enchanter to create a pro-
jectile weapon out of paper that can deal 1d6 points in
damage. This weapon may be modeled after any projec-
tile weapons found in the equipment chapter of this
book, and may be wielded as such. However the casting
of this spell does not give the Enchanter the training to
use the weapon, and would need to have the Skill to
wield the weapon properly. Any weapons created by
this spell resist the effects of water for up to half the
caster's level in rounds (rounded down).
The material component for this spell is 40 sheets
of paper.
This is the Firebrand Tree.
Growing up to 30 feet tall, they
resemble a locust tree dotted with red blossoms in the shape of small flames. Firebrands
are typically harmless trees that bear a sweet
plum-like fruit known as a fire seed. If
the tree or the area where the tree is located is
damaged or cut down each of the tree’s blossoms
become Fire Elementals seeking retribution for the tree
and its land.
The Mark 45 is a semi-automatic pistol that weighs
3 pounds and is 9 ½ inches long. This plasma weapon
seems to be a stripped down version of the Grom,
carrying only 12 rounds in a clip and having no digital
display or compatibility with silencers the Mark 45 or
M 45 still remains popular among plasma weapon
enthusiasts.
